Social distancing only refers to remaining physically apart from others. You can still talk to family and friends as often as you want. In fact, it is encouraged as a way to offer support to each other. Acknowledge your feelings to them if you are anxious or depressed.
2. Create and stick to a routine where possible
Routines are a great way to manage difficult situations. Try going to bed and waking up the same time every day. Also eat, shower, change your clothes and check in with family and friends at the same times daily. Avoid unhealthy habits like comfort eating, drinking or smoking.
3. Limit your time online
Check media and social media, particularly the news, at the same time each day to promote your mental wellbeing.
